African American Mayors Association Celebrates CEO Phyllis Dickerson’s Recognition on the USBC 2024 Power 50 Women’s List

WASHINGTON, DC – The African American Mayors Association (AAMA) is thrilled to announce and celebrate the inclusion of our Chief Executive Officer, Phyllis Dickerson, on the U.S. Black Chambers, Inc. (USBC) 2024 Power 50 Women’s List. This distinguished honor recognizes 50 trailblazing Black women across various sectors for their outstanding leadership, innovation, and contributions to their communities and beyond.

Honorees participated in the USBC Power 50 Women’s Luncheon in Washington, DC, on March 21, 2024 celebrating the indomitable spirit and significant achievements of Black women globally. The event, marking Women’s History Month, provided a platform to honor and recognize individuals working tirelessly for positive change. Among those celebrated were leaders like Arian Simone, Co-Founder & CEO of Fearless Fund, awarded Woman of the Year, and Cathy Hughes, Founder and Chairperson of Urban One, honored as the Global Trailblazer of the Year, showcasing the diverse impact of Black women in various fields.
